Suvi Kemppainen is an internationally working choreographer, dancer, performer and performance maker. Suvi’s works are deeply embedded in their movement and performance practice. This practice is anchored in questions around immaterial ownership and fantastic psychosomatic dance, which are a constant parallel to the stage works, performances and workshops they facilitate and create.

 After graduating as a dancer from North Karelia College Outokumpu in Finland Suvi continued their choreography studies at the University of Arts Berlin, graduating in 2019. Kemppainen’s latest works have been presented at the Sophiensaele in Berlin, Ballhaus Ost in Berlin and at the Zodiak Center for New Dance in Helsinki. Suvi collaborates with wide network of artists, most recently with Elina Pirinen, Liisa Pentti, Angela Schubot, Ar Utke Ács, Przemek Kaminski.
